SUPPORT FOR CHRISTINE ELLIOTT GROWS

Hamilton, ON — Today, 10 elected officials declared their support for Christine Elliott as the next leader of the Ontario PC Party.

"I'm honoured to have the support of so many of my caucus colleagues and candidates across Ontario," said Christine Elliott. "We're a growing team, and, with the support of so many grassroots members, we're ready now to defeat Kathleen Wynne in the next election."

Today, Elliott also announced that Todd Smith, MPP for Prince Edward—Hastings and Roman Baber, candidate for York Centre, will serve as campaign co-chairs.

"I wanted to listen carefully to each of the candidates before making my decision," said Smith. "Having now had the opportunity to hear from each candidate, and with so little time before the next election, I've never been more sure that Christine is the only candidate with the right experience to finally beat Kathleen Wynne."
